A wistful school teacher, Nico, finds an antique bicycle chained and knotted into the heart of a blackberry bush. Despite the warnings and efforts of the neighbourhood eccentric who is keeping secrets too dark and shameful, Nico fights off any attempts to be freed of  the mystical bond. The bike feeds his ego and physical prowess by draining the life force of the people around him. Becoming something he thinks that he wants he is quickly destroying those that he loves in the process.  Can the unlikely pair of his successful vibrant partner and the elderly recluse save Nico and themselves from the fiendish forces that are turning him mad?
