Reworking my novel using Blake Snyder's beats has been a breakthrough. My story had potential but lacked the depth and cohesion it needed to truly resonate. Snyder's method provided a structured approach that transformed my writing process.

The beats, with their emphasis on clear plot points and character arcs, gave my novel a newfound sense of direction. The Opening Image and Final Image will allow me to frame my story with powerful, contrasting moments, highlighting the main character's growth. The Catalyst introduced pivotal changes that will the narrative forward, while the midpoint added a crucial twist that elevating the stakes.
Each beat brought my characters to life, making their journeys more relatable and profound. With all the Beats now in place I can't wait to delve deeper into their motivations and conflicts, enriching their development and interactions.
I still need that Save The Cat moment, though. Still looking for that damned cat.
